Marguerite Kirk’s practice is exclusively devoted to solving tax problems and business and personal bankruptcy.

She has written two  business books, both bestsellers in their category.

Marguerite has often taught seminars to fellow attorneys through The State Bar of Texas and chaired their educational committees. She is currently on the faculty of Morgan King’s Bankruptcy Tax Academy. She is Board Certified in Business and Consumer Bankruptcy by the State Bar of Texas and the American Bankruptcy Institute and has been since 1985, when the certifications were first available. She is past president of the Bankruptcy Bar and of the NE Tarrant County Bar Assn.

Marguerite has appeared on television shows and nationwide radio as an expert on small business success and is regularly consulted by the media. The Associated Press, Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Star Telegram, Bottomline Business, Female Executive and Computer Magazine have written articles about her. 

She recently decided to downsize her law practice in order to give more personal attention to each client case. She feels her 30 years of experience in solving small business problems have given her a clear insight into why businesses succeed and why businesses fail. She is currently working on a small business guide to give help through rough economic and political times.
