Solutions to Tax Debts

STOP IRS LEVIES NOW!

I specialize in helping individuals and businesses overcome tax problems. From my office in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex area, I provide the highest quality legal service to clients with IRS problems. I have 25 years experience in compromises debts with IRS and discharging taxes in bankruptcy and practice in Tax court and Bankruptcy court.

My tax services include:

·         OFFER IN COMPROMISE

IRS will settle for less than you owe. Never before has IRS been so willing to settle old debt for pennies on the dollar. If you owe more than $15,000.00 in back taxes, you may qualify for an offer in compromise and pay substantially less than you owe. In order to get this done, it is important to use an experienced attorney who is familiar with the IRS collection manual and knows what it takes to get results. Most Offers are turned down because the person making the offer did not have the experience to know what works.

·         COMPROMISE STATE SALES TAX

If you owe the State of Texas sales tax, you may qualify to settle your tax for less than you owe. Call my office to determine if you qualify.

 ·         SOLUTIONS FOR CIVIL PENALTY ASSESSMENTS

If you have been assessed for 941 taxes that your company did not pay, several solutions are available.

  1. I can help you compromise the amount of the taxes you pay to IRS.
  2. If you think you are not liable for the civil penalties and this has not been determined in Tax Court or by an administrative proceeding, the United States Bankruptcy court may hear your case and may determine that you are not liable. This can happen even after the IRS has assessed you.

·         INNOCENT SPOUSE DEFENSE

If you had nothing to do with a tax debt incurred by your spouse, you may be able to obtain relief from IRS collections. this can happen during a divorce, when one spouse owns a business or if you are already divorced.

·         INSTALLMENT PLANS

IRS will often allow you to do an installment payback of your taxes. If you need court protection while on an installment plan, that protection is available through a chapter 13 or chapter 11 bankruptcy. There you would pay back all or only a portion of your taxes depending on the statue of your taxes and your income.

·         DISCHARGE  INCOME TAXES IN BANKRUPTCY

If your returns have been filed for three years, you may be able to discharge all your taxes in bankruptcy. The changes in bankruptcy laws did not alter this right. I will meet with you, evaluate your situation and recommend the best solution to your IRS debt.
